Jan Davies and Shona Holmes, Partners in Care’s Social Care Nurse Educators, are pleased to offer Diabetes Awareness and Pressure Ulcer Prevention training in Telford. The venue will be The Independent Living Centre, Hazeldine House, Telford, TF3 4JL. The first course will take place on Thursday 1 August 2024, from 0930-1230
Attending the course will help improve understanding of diabetes and early recognition of possible complications of this condition. The pressure ulcer element of the training will enhance knowledge and awareness of preventing pressure related injuries and the impact such injuries can have on people’s lives. The training will also address the importance of good skin care and help with identifying the severity of skin tear injuries, including what action to take.
