I was born in Melbourne Australia and moved to the UK with my family and spent many years moving around the Country as my Father worked for the Ministry of Defence and was deployed regularly. I started work in 1984 at a local authority home down south as a Carer and moved to Shropshire in 1990 to manage care homes for people with a learning difficulty. I worked at the homes for 18 years whilst also working at Ludlow College as an Assessor and Internal Verifier.
I became a member of Partners in Care and spent a brief time as the Vice Chair before leaving the learning disability homes to work at Partners in Care as a Care Liaison Officer and eventually as the Chief Officer.
I joined Coverage Care Services in 2015 as the Operations Director and became Chief Executive in 2021.
