Dementia Project Officer

Elinor joined Partners in Care in June 2022 as the Dementia Project Officer.

Elinor started out in nursing then went on to do a diploma and NVQ3 in Pharmacy, where she became pharmacy lead. She moved to Shropshire and worked in a dispensary then had a yearn to go back into nursing where she worked for 7 years clinically on a rehabilitation ward in Ludlow, leading on memory and wellbeing and doing mental capacity assessments and applying DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty and Safeguarding) and writing and delivering Dementia training.

Elinor’s qualifications are NVQ 3 and diploma in Pharmacy, Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and DoLS assessor, as well as Mental Health first aid and Management and leadership.

Elinor wants Shropshire to be the leading county in Dementia care – through promoting “living well with Dementia”.
