Training Officer
Emma joined Partners in Care in August 2021 as a Training officer with a focus on Moving and Handling. Emma designs and delivers courses for the Moving and Handling one day and half day sessions and the Moving and Handling Train the Trainer program. Emma also delivers on a range of other topics including Leadership training and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion workshops.
Emma started out in social care as a nursing assistant in care homes before a change to the education sector and working for some time as a teacher in Early Years. After a move back to social care Emma has provided support to a range of vulnerable groups including time spent supporting adult mental health and wellbeing, owned and managed a domiciliary care company, and has been training care staff for a number of years.
Emma’s qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, a BSc in Social Sciences and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. She is a member of the National Back Exchange.
