Karen Littleford

Safeguarding Adults Lead

Karen has worked for Partners in Care since 2005, having previously worked in social care roles with children, young people and adults. Karen delivers a wide range of training courses.She also represents Partners in Care on the Safeguarding Adults Boards and connected groups of the Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership (SSCP) and the Telford and Wrekin Safeguarding Partnership (TWSP).Karen organises and facilitates the quarterly Networking Opportunity for Trainers Support Meetings and Safeguarding Adults Forum meetings (a collaborative project between Partners in Care, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Integrated Care Board, local authorities and Safeguarding Adults Partnerships).

Karen holds an MA in Safeguarding Adults: Law, Policy and Practice (Distinction) from Keele University. She also has the following professional qualifications: Advanced Teacher Status (ATS), Chartered Teacher Status (CTeach) and Post Compulsory Education (Cert Ed) and ILM Level 3 Qualification in Mentoring. Karen is a Fellow of the Society of Education and Training (FSET). In January 2025, Karen commenced the two year Leading Culture Change in Safeguarding PGCert course at University of Worcester.

Karen is able to offer support and signposting to providers regarding safeguarding matters.
