Business Operations Manager
Mike joined Partners in Care in January 2022. Mike is part of the senior leadership team of the organisation and is responsible for the business functions including Finance, HR, IT, Governance and Premises and reports directly to the Chief Officer, David Crosby.
Prior to joining Partners in Care Mike worked within the Education Sector for 14 years, working as School Business Manager, then Director of School Business at two Secondary Academy Schools in Shropshire. Prior to this Mike worked for NACRO Education and Employment Directorate, a large national charity working with adults and young people to improve employment prospects, as Area Manager for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
Mike holds an Institute of Administrative Management Diploma in School Business Management and has worked closely with both Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Councils as well as nationally with the Department for Education, where he participated as a member of their procurement improvement team.
Mike is keen to ensure Partners in Care operates as efficiently as possible to ensure members’ and stakeholders’ needs are met.
