Training Officer

Martin joined Partners in Care in 2016. He is responsible for the design and delivery of our first aid courses, from the half-day Basic Lifesaving Skills/Annual First Aid Refresher course to the three-day First Aid at Work course. He implements our quality assurance plan for first aid training and ensures compliance with the current statutory requirements. As a Moving and Handling Trainer he delivers the one-day Moving and Handling and the half-day Moving and Handling Refresher courses. He also delivers our new range of First Aid for Mental Health courses.

Martin holds qualifications in PTLLS; BTEC Level 4 Safer People Handling Trainer; First Aid at Work; Supervising First Aid for Mental Health Instructor (FAA) and MSc (Ornithology). He also holds memberships of the Society for Education and Training; National Back Exchange; First Aid Industry Body; Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care at the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
