Menu Improvement Planning (Free)

Aligned with CQC Pillars: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well Led. The presentation will cover the planning of menu cycles for care homes.

Discussion will be around:

• Reviewing existing offering and identifying gaps.
• Increasing choice and flexibility.
• Improving nutrition and fortification.
• Meeting Modified and specific dietary needs.
• Enhancing mealtime experience and resident involvement
• Auditing plus controlling cost and stock levels.

Hopefully the session will prompt ideas to be developed locally as the homes know their own residents' likes and dislikes best.
