Through Better Careers For Better Care, The Rayne Foundation is investing in people and organisations putting people who draw on care and support, their families and care workers at the heart of adult social care.
Over the past 2 years they've awarded 10 grants worth £2.4m across England, Scotland and Wales. The second funding call is building on that learning to support more collaborative, trusted and inclusive approaches to professional development for care workers.
The latest funding call received 62 applications from across England, Scotland and Wales.
After a rigorous assessment process, including conversations with 13 longlisted organisations, six outstanding proposals have been recommended to our Board.
The Rayne Foundation were inspired by the quality of applications—40% scored over 70/100—highlighting the innovation, ambition and growing demand for funding that supports collaboration and transformation in adult social care.
We are pleased to announce that Partners in Care was one of the 6 proposals approved by the board and has been awarded funding which will enable us to establish an Independent Clinical Nurse Lead to transform professional development, clinical leadership and collaborative culture for care professionals in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
