Course introduction

This practical and theoretical half-day CPD course updates learners on the latest legislation and techniques to withdraw blood for sampling. Please note that this course is not designed for staff who are brand new to venepuncture and Ethical Workforce Solutions, as part of the course materials, recommend the use of observed competencies following the training.

Course outcomes:

Successfully passing the course does not substitute documented practice (however, the RGN Trainer will advise on the requirements for this).

Successful completion of this training course will result in the award of a CPD accredited certificate covering all aspects of the above course contents.
