Who is this webinar aimed at?
Activity Coordinators and Activity Leads working in the social care sector.
What will be covered in this session?
The Care Workforce Pathway is the first universal career structure for the adult social care workforce. It has been co-developed by DHSC in partnership with Skills for Care, using evidence supplied through sector engagement. It aims to provide clear guidance for progression and development for professionals in the adult social care sector by outlining the necessary knowledge, skills, values, and behaviours they will need in their work/practice.
There are currently eight roles which sit within the Care Workforce Pathway, but DHSC have agreed to move forward with three new full role categories, three paired back role categories and a number of recognised roles.
Skills for Care are currently developing a comprehensive role category for the Activity Coordinator, and your input is invaluable.
We invite you to participate in shaping this role to ensure it accurately reflects both the realities of the position and the opportunities it presents. Join us to learn more, contribute your insights, and help define a role that supports and empowers those who serve in it.
