Last year Partners in Care supported a PhD student at Keele University Law School, Jay Kirkham, by promoting research she is undertaking as part of her PhD exploring consent and the Mental Capacity Act.
We encouraged our members and their staff to participate in the research and those who participated in the research were entered into a prize draw to win £100 of Partners in Care training credit.
Kate Arrowsmith from Yockleton Grange Residential Home in Yockleton near Shrewsbury was the winner of the prize draw and was recently presented with her prize. Kate said: “I’m very happy to have won the training voucher, I enjoy attending training and look forward to choosing a course to further my professional development”.
Huge thanks to Kate and everyone else who participated in the research.
