• Observations using your senses – sight, hearing, smell and touch
• Basic infection control precautions
• Communication
• Temperature
• Blood pressure
• Pulse
• Respiration
• Oxygen saturation
• Tissue viability
• Blood glucose monitoring and fluid balance
• Record keeping
The training includes theory, practical, audio and video content and participants practice their skills with a range of common equipment (provided by the trainer) found in the care setting.
Course outcomes
Successful completion of this training course will result in the award of a CPD accredited certificate covering all aspects of the above course contents.
