Who is the meeting aimed at?
Certified in-house Moving & Handling Trainers who have completed the Shropshire Partners in Care 6 day training course.
Other practising trainers in adult social care services who have completed their 6 day training elsewhere.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Learners must be appropriately dressed to attend Moving and Handling training, for example, clothing should be comfortable and provide ease of movement, short skirts should be avoided.
Open toed shoes MUST NOT be worn due to the high risk of foot injury, learners wearing open toed shoes WILL NOT be allowed to participate and your employer will still be charged as it will be marked as a non-attendance.
