Roadworks will be taking place between Friday 1 and Friday 8 May 2026, from 0930 to 1600 and will on occasion, result in limited access to the Partners in Care office in Annscroft. Anyone attending Partners in Care for training should allow additional time for their journey. Please see the roads/junctions affected below:
Roadworks will take place on Shrewsbury Road south of Annscroft to the junction with Great Lyth Farm towards Exfords Green. Also, from the junction with Great Lyth Farm towards Exfords Green to the junction with Chatford Lane.
Access information during road closure
Please be advised of the following access arrangement during the road closure:
- Essential highway personnel - full access will be maintained at all times
- Emergency service vehicles - will be granted priority access through the closure
- Residents and local businesses - access to properties and business premises within the closure area will be maintained. However, please note there may be minor delays at times to ensure safety of both residents and workforce
Additionally:
- Shropshire Council will adjust closure points where possible to minimise disruption
- If your business or property falls within the closure points on a particular day, access will be permitted
- If your property or business is outside the closure points, you will need to follow the designated diversion route
